Mr. Carmody has Produced or Line Produced films and television all over the world since 1973. In addition to the countries listed on his resume, he has also scouted extensively throughout South East Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

Not only does Mr. Carmody have dual citizenship ( U.S. / Canada and E.E.C. valid though the British Commonwealth), he speaks French and a fair amount of Italian. His world travels have allowed him to work extensively with both union and non-union crews throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as British, French, German, Italian, Australian and Hong Kong crews.

He is a member of the Producers' Guild of America, the Canadian Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers, the Directors' Guild of America, The Directors' Guild of Canada, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Canadian Academy of Film and Television.

Mr. Carmody has received many awards including nominations for the Academy Awards, Emmys, Genies, Peabody Awards, etc.
