In charge of all feature film production and post-production including films such as David Cronenberg’s "They Came From Within", "Rabid" and "The Brood" and Ivan Reitman’s "Meatballs". Hired and supervised all directors, cast and crew for over twenty, mostly low budget features in both French and English.

1976-1978
President – Cinemarc Production Inc. – Montreal
Performed all supervisory functions within a medium sized motion picture production and distribution organization. Selected and edited feature film scripts. Screened, evaluated and acquired foreign films for distribution within Canada such as Dino Risi’s "How Funny Can Sex Be?", Frederico Fellini’s "Amarcord" and Joan Miklin Silver’s "Hester Street" and "Between The Lines".

1978-1980
Vice President – Motion Picture & Television Production – Astral Films Inc. – Montreal
Supervised and oversaw all motion picture and television production and post-production for a large multi-faceted media conglomerate. Company was publicly held, so answered to the board of directors and stockholders. Produced television mini-series like "A Man Called Intrepid" and "Top Of The Hill", series like "Famous Jury Trials" and "Chairman Of The Board" and feature films like "Terror Train", "Hard Feelings" and "Meteor".

1998-2001
President Of Production – Franchise Pictures Inc. – Los Angeles
Supervised and personally oversaw all production of feature films for a moderate sized but growing independent production and foreign sales company. Most features were released through Warner Brother domestically. Interacted with banking, foreign financing and completion bond entities as well as negotiated and followed through on all tax shelter and labor rebate scenarios for productions in Canada, Europe and Australia. In charge of budgeting, location selection, crew hiring, casting decisions and negotiations. Films included "The Whole Nine Yards", "The Third Miracle", "The Pledge", "3000 Miles To Graceland", "Driven", "Angel Eyes", "City By The Sea", etc.

1980-Present
President – Don Carmody Productions Inc.
Independent producer & line producer of feature films such as "Porky’s", "Weekend At Bernie’s", "A Christmas Story", "Sidekicks", "Johnny Mnemonic", "The Mighty", "Goodwill Hunting", "54", "Chicago", "Resident Evil", "Gothika", etc. and television or pay TV projects like "The Late Shift", "Primary Motive" and "The Payoff". Involved with every major Hollywood studio and pay television network as well as C.B.S. and N.B.C. Became intimately involved in all aspects of tax shelter financing in Canada, Europe, Australia, etc. Familiar with most government co-production treaties and became knowledgeable with virtually all entertainment oriented guilds and unions throughout the western world.
