The Tracker is the story of an Asian New York underworld family with an intense rivalry with an upstart Russian gang, the Malakovs. The daughter-in-law of the family, Kim, is the family’s Achilles heel. Unhappy playing the role of the traditional Chinese wife, she had an affair with Spears, an ex-cop with a reputation as being the best tracker on the force before succumbing to the pressures of her family to marry within the community. Spears is called back into Kim’s life when he learns from her brother Rick that she has been kidnapped.
