The Mortal Instruments Starts Filming August 2012

The first feature film adaptation in "The Mortal Instruments" fantasy book series, "City Of Bones", from "Resident Evil" producer Don Carmody and director Harold Zwart, will start production in Toronto August 15, 2012.
Screen Gems teamed with Constantin Film and Unique Features to develop "The Mortal Instruments" based on author Cassandra Clare's series and will release the film in 2013.
Cast includes Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Godfrey Gao, Jemima West, Lena Headey, Jared Harris, Robert Maillet and Kevin Durand. Screenplay is by Jessica Postigo :
